Crawford will play Ren McCormack in the movie after finally deciding that he would sign on to the film this week. Paramount gave Usmagazine.com the exclusive news and Paramount is expected to announce the news to other publications Wednesday morning.<br /><br /><br />Crawford was offered the role after Zac Efron bowed out of the movie role a few months ago.
